How to get to Nanjing?
Nanjing is served by the bullet train system between Nanjing and Shanghai. Because of the convenience, speed and cheaper ticket prices, the bullet train may be the best way to approach Nanjing. Otherwise, there are regular trains, long-distance buses and flights.
Getting to Nanjing
Step 1. By Air to Shanghai
Shanghai is the only city in China that has two international airports - Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International Airport. The two modern airports are equipped with very advanced facilities. The two airports are widely linked with many domestic and international cities such as Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Tokyo and Singapore.
Step 2. By High-Speed Train from Shanghai to Nanjing
The high-speed rail line between Nanjing and Shanghai stops at Suzhou, Wuxi, and Changzhou. It is one of the busiest high-speed rail sections in China. It takes about one hour to travel from Shanghai to Nanjing.
Important forthcoming dates and deadlines
Here are the important deadlines. The MetFoam2017 website will be systematically updated as soon as any new information becomes available.
05-August-2017 deadline for hotel reservation
14-September-2017 arrival day
15-September-2017 opening of the MetFoam2017, beginning of the scientific program
16-September-2017 conference banquet
17-September-2017 end of the scientific program and departure day
For more information and updates, please visit www.metfoam2017.org or write to DR. JIAN-ZHONG WANG at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Nanjing!
