已主持包括国家自然科学基金、国家重点攻关项目、国家科技支撑计划重大项目专题、863子项目、教育部博士点科学基金、留学回国人员科研基金、江苏省六大人才高峰”A类资助项目、水利水电科学基金、江苏省建设系统科技计划项目、安徽省科技攻关项目在内的100余项项目的研究。获省部级科技进步奖5项,申请国家发明专利42件,授权国家发明专利24件、软件著作权5件,在《Cement and Concrete Research》、《ACI Materials Journal》、《Cement & Concrete Composites》、《Materials Letters》、《Magazine of Concrete Research》、《Materials and Corrosion》、《Construction and Building Materials》、《Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering》等国内外刊物上发表学术论文280余篇(其中SCI收录66篇,EI收录68篇),主编《土木工程材料》、《混凝土材料学》、《HHC自保温混凝土砌块(砖)应用技术规程(JG/T030-2009)》、《水利工程海洋工程新材料新技术》,参编《新编水工混凝土结构设计手册》、《中国水利大百科全书》、《水利大辞典》等著作。
